You can never have too much of a good thing. Why restrict ourselves to thinking locally, when the world has collectively produced such a gorgeous profusion of thoughts, so richly expressed in a multiplicity of languages. The literature of the world can be seen as different branches of the same tree - thoughts on Nature, on the nature of the Universe, and the Universality of human nature. Perhaps, we may identify a vein of national characteristics, or perhaps, we may be surprised at the depth of our similarities. However that may be, this promises to be a journey worth taking.
